The Medical Assistant works closely with the Provider to ensure that patients are cared for in a respectful and compassionate manner. Daily duties include but are not limited to large volume of patient calls, assisting the Provider with procedures/exams, rooming patients, getting manual vitals, HPI, medications and documenting all important information in the patient's chart, along with managing schedules and phone triage, entering orders and lab results in patient’s EMR.
Job Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program with certifications and in good standing with the State of Arkansas.
Work Experience
- Medical Assistant experience required.
- OB/GYN experience preferred
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Experience using EMR systems preferably EclinicalWorks
- Strong customer service skills both in person and on the phone
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
- Detail oriented, able to rely on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks, participate on a team, and accomplish goals
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual preferred
- HIPAA training
Able to interact and treat all persons with fairness, respect and sensitivity to cultural/social orientation

- 7:45 AM TO 5:00 PM MONDAY AND THURSDAY
- 7:45 AM TO 3:00 PM ON FRIDAY
