Dental Receptionist/Dental Administrator position is available at a Private Dental Office

Flexible schedule: 25-35 hours per week, no weekends
Dental Receptionist/Dental Administrator Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in person and help patients over the phone
- Check in patients, update personal information, verify insurance and benefits
- Answer, screen and forward phone calls
- Calculate co-payments
- Collect and post patient payments
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Fill schedule for openings for the current day and the next day.
- Perform other administrative duties such as organizing, photocopying, faxing and other duties routinely required
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, well-stocked for daily supplies
Dental Administrator Preferred Qualifiations:
- Excellent phone and conversation skills is A MUST
- Professional, friendly, comforting and personal demeanor at office-patient setting
- Represents the practice in a positive manner when interacting with patients
- Ensures a high level of accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to multi-task and be quick in learning
- Able to complete tasks and responsibilities in an appropriate and timely manner
- Ability to communicate with patients, be attentive to patient concerns and help with some of their questions
- Work experience in a dental office and knowledge with Dentrix are definitely preferred
- Understanding of dental terminologies and procedures
- Understanding and compliance of HIPAA and OSHA & CDC Guidelines
