Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a fun and stimulating learning environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in your care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging opportunities that promote early childhood education and development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children and families.
- Foster positive relationships with children and parents to encourage open communication.
- Ensure privacy of children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their well-being.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques.
- Follow Lesson Plans Provided by the Director
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning & “tour ready“
Skills
- Experience in a professional childcare environment
- Strong classroom management skills. 1:6 Ratio.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children with disabilitiesis a plus.
- Proficiency in toddler caretechniques to support young children's needs.
- Ability to provide first aidas necessary in case of emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A positive attitude with a genuine passion for teaching young children.

Ideally looking for someone to work on a Wednesday or Thursday from 8 am to 4pm, a few times a month.
The daycare is a Licensed Family Daycare in my home. You will care for up to 7 unrelated children at one time. A physical, background check, and a CPR/First Aid Certification is required. Additional training is provided by the Director.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
