Service Logistics Coordinator Position Summary
The Service Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting operational readiness through inventory management, shipping and receiving, service coordination, material staging, and internal operational support. This position plays a critical role in ensuring technicians, management, and office personnel have the materials, information, and logistical support necessary to execute work efficiently and professionally.
This role functions as a central coordination point between service operations, inventory, purchasing, office operations, and technical support. The Service Logistics Coordinator helps reduce operational delays, improve inventory accuracy, support customer responsiveness, and increase overall organizational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of operating in a fast-paced service environment with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify low-stock or critical items.
- Assist with inventory forecasting and reorder recommendations.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
- Help standardize inventory storage, labeling, and organization.
- Identify obsolete, damaged, duplicate, or unused inventory.
- Support truck stock and technician inventory consistency.
Shipping and Receiving
- Receive incoming shipments and verify order accuracy.
- Coordinate shipment intake, inspection, and documentation.
- Organize incoming inventory and materials appropriately.
- Prepare and coordinate outbound shipments and returns.
- Assist with warranty returns and vendor coordination.
- Track and communicate shipping status as needed.
Service and Job Coordination Support
- Assist with preparation and staging of materials for upcoming service work.
- Coordinate parts and material readiness for scheduled jobs.
- Help ensure technicians have required materials before dispatch.
- Support operational coordination between office, service, and technical personnel.
- Reduce delays caused by missing, incorrect, or unavailable materials.
Purchasing and Vendor Support
- Assist with purchasing coordination and material tracking.
- Monitor recurring inventory usage trends and shortages.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding order status, lead times, and returns.
- Support procurement activities as directed by management.
Operational Support
- Help maintain organization across operational workflows and inventory systems.
- Coordinate with Jessica regarding scheduling readiness and operational priorities.
- Coordinate with Rena regarding technical material requirements and equipment support.
- Support Josh with field service logistics, operational readiness, and material coordination.
- Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and workflow organization.

Overall Objective

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
