We are seeking an experienced Product Specialist III to join our Product Management team and drive the growth of OE-quality automotive aftermarket products across North America.
As the exclusive North American distributor for a globally recognized Tier-1 OE manufacturer, we continue to expand our presence across major automotive retailers and traditional Warehouse Distributor (WD) channels.
This position plays a key role in product strategy, lifecycle management, market expansion, and portfolio optimization to strengthen our competitiveness in the North American automotive aftermarket.

Position Summary
The Product Specialist III will be responsible for managing and growing assigned automotive aftermarket product lines through strategic planning, product development, and lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong aftermarket product knowledge, analytical skills, and channel expertise to support growth across traditional Warehouse Distributor (WD) networks and major automotive retail programs.
This position works closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Marketing, and Quality teams to develop competitive product programs that meet market demands and drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
- Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, including product launches, pricing, positioning, and end-of-life planning
- Identify product line gaps and expansion opportunities based on vehicle population and market demand
- Monitor product performance, sales trends, and profitability
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Analyze automotive aftermarket trends and competitor product offerings
- Evaluate competitor pricing, product coverage, and market positioning
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Product Development & Launch
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, and Quality teams to develop new aftermarket products
- Define product specifications, application coverage, and quality standards
- Coordinate new product launches, including catalog data, packaging, and sales support materials
Sales & Channel Support
- Support Sales teams working with Warehouse Distributors (WDs) and major automotive retailers
- Deliver product training and technical support
- Assist with customer presentations and strategic growth initiatives
Pricing & Profitability Management
- Develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies
- Monitor product costs and profit margins
- Recommend pricing adjustments based on market conditions and competitive analysis
Product Data & Catalog Management
- Maintain accurate product information, technical specifications, and vehicle application data
- Support ACES and PIES catalog standards
- Ensure accurate product data across customer platforms and catalog systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, or Product Development within the automotive aftermarket industry
- Strong understanding of automotive parts, vehicle applications, and product lifecycle management
- Experience supporting Warehouse Distributor (WD) networks and major automotive retail channels
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, catalog management systems, and BI tools (Power BI preferred)

- Experience working with major automotive retailers such as:
- AutoZone
- O'Reilly Auto Parts
- Advance Auto Parts
- NAPA Auto Parts
- Experience with major Warehouse Distributor groups, including:
- Parts Authority
- Federated Auto Parts
- APSG
- Knowledge of ACES and PIES aftermarket catalog standards
- Experience managing Private Label or OE replacement product lines
