PRN X-RAY Tech (Radiologic Technologist) Position. This is primarily a Thursday and Friday position with one weekend needed per month. Will provide service to our nationwide Long-Term Care and outside the hospital client base. Will complete diagnostic exams in a professional and timely manner. RT will be provided with all overhead including vehicle, x-ray equipment, gas card and image processing tools. X-RAY Tech will interact with our Call Center Dispatch Associates to pick up cases and report cases that are completed.
ROLE: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.
Hours: Flexible hours with rotating weekends
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend meetings, as required
- Connect and disconnect Holter Monitors
- Submit accurate and timely time sheets, as per protocol
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and maintenance
- Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisors/Managers
- Train other technologists, as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of Radiology program
- State X-Ray License, if applicable
- Valid driver’s license in the applicable state and in good current standing.
- Complete and successfully pass drug screening and background check.
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Enjoys driving and moving from location to location
- Professional attitude and compassion for patient care
- Excellent skill set and ability to meet daily challenges
