Summary:
An auto physical damage appraiser establishes the physical damage claim value of assigned losses and negotiates and settles losses.
Essential Functions
- Inspect damaged vehicles to assess claim value
- Prepare accurate vehicle damage appraisals
- Evaluate, negotiate and settle total losses
- Assist in reinspection process
- Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- 2+ years writing auto damage appraisals preferred
- Relevant hands-on experience in auto body repair is a plus
This position involves travel to assess damaged vehicles within the claims territory as well as working in the Madison, WI office. Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
