Ninety9 Capital is a Dallas-Fort Worth real estate investment firm with a growing multifamily portfolio and an active fix-and-flip / renovation operation. Every property we acquire carries a significant renovation component, and our fix-and-flip business runs multiple projects at once. We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Construction Bookkeeper / Project Coordinator to keep the accounting for these projects accurate, current, and organized.
This is a hands-on, in-office role in our Plano office. You will work closely with our asset managers, property accountants, and fix-and-flip lead — doing the day-to-day bookkeeping and coordination that keeps each project's numbers clean. This is an execution and coordination role: the senior team makes the judgment calls (capitalization, budgets, classifications); you own the accuracy, the data, and the flow of information.
What you'll do
· Job-cost bookkeeping: enter and code invoices, expenses, and vendor bills to the correct project and cost category.
· Track and log lender and renovation draw requests, supporting documentation, and disbursements.
· Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable for renovation and fix-and-flip projects.
· Keep project-level ledgers and budget-to-actual tracking current across multiple concurrent projects.
· Collect, organize, and follow up on documentation between the field, the accounting team, and property managers.
· Prepare clean, accurate data and schedules for review by the senior accounting and asset management team.
· Support month-end close on the construction and fix-and-flip side under senior direction.
What we're looking for
· Hands-on bookkeeping experience in construction, real estate, or job-cost / project-based accounting (this is the most important qualification).
· Comfort with high-volume data entry and coding while maintaining accuracy across many projects at once.
· Strong organization and follow-through — you enjoy keeping things tidy, current, and reconciled.
· QuickBooks experience required; familiarity with construction or property software (Sage, ComputerEase, Buildium, ResMan, or similar) is a plus.
· Someone who takes pride in accurate books and smooth coordination, and is happy executing in a defined-scope role rather than making the final judgment calls.
· Reliable, in-office presence in Plano.
