Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wines, beers, and specialty drinks using established recipes or creative variations.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Manage POS systems such as TOAST POS for processing orders and cash transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Handle cashing out customers accurately while processing payments swiftly using POS systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service during busy hours, including banquet or catering events if applicable.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Previous food service experience including serving, food handling, and cash handling is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic math skills for accurate measurements and transactions.
- Experience in hospitality industry roles such as restaurant or banquet service enhances your suitability for this position.
