Job Summary
Rare Collects Liquor & Wine is looking for a reliable and hardworking sales associate to join our team. We are looking for someone who is friendly with customers, flexible with scheduling, and comfortable working in a busy liquor store.
Responsibilities
- Help customers find wine, liquor, beer, and other products
- Answer basic product questions and make recommendations
- Operate the cash register and process payments
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise
- Receive deliveries and carry heavy boxes
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Prepare pickup and delivery orders
- Make local deliveries when needed
Requirements
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift and carry heavy cases and boxes
- Willing to learn about new products
Experience
- Previous retail, sales, customer service, grocery store, or liquor store experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of wine, liquor, beer, or spirits is helpful
- Comfortable using a cash register or POS system
- Comfortable recommending products and helping increase sales
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
- Supervising or management experience is a plus, but not required
We are looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently. The right person should stay organized, help customers, and be flexible with their schedule.
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
