Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our team in a dynamic restaurant environment. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests. Your contributions will help enhance the overall dining experience and support our waitstaff in delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished their meals to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by refilling water glasses, bringing bread or other items to tables, and providing support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning spills, and ensuring that all surfaces are sanitized.
- Set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering functions.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Stock supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments as needed throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with bussing techniques and catering services is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
- Experience working in hotels or restaurants is advantageous but not mandatory.
