Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at Veros Health. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to enhance health outcomes through effective biologic therapies. This position is essential for ensuring seamless operations within our healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care by preparing examination rooms and ensuring necessary supplies are available.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and assisting with procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and streamline care processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of outpatient procedures and patient care protocols.
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Basic understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care.
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
