The Family Home Health Network, a partner to the Alden Network, is a dynamic post-acute care service provider of intermittent home health care, palliative care, hospice care and skilled/custodial private care services throughout the Chicagoland area.
We are looking for an Intake Referral Specialist experienced with hospice to add to our team who will be responsible for various aspects of clinical operations including gathering/data entry of referrals, admissions, discharges, scheduling of staffing needs, customer service calls/follow-up, administrative coordination of services and other related clerical functions supporting administrative processes. Ideal candidates will have experience with home health, hospice, private duty, physician services or similar healthcare services.
**THIS POSITION IS HYBRID BUT FIRST 30 DAYS WILL BE IN OFFICE**
Applicants MUST have:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience
Experience with processing insurance verifications
High computer literacy/capabilities required (proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and Electronic Faxing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding customer service attitude
Demonstrated knowledge of insurance benefits/plans and medical terminology
