About Us
Floor Coverings International of North Seattle is hiring a Design Associate to help homeowners select flooring solutions through a consultative, in-home sales process. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong people skills, sales ability, technology comfort, and a drive to build business through both company leads and local networking.
You will meet with customers in their homes, measure spaces, present products, create proposals on-site, and close flooring projects. In addition to running company-generated appointments, you will also help build referral relationships through networking, realtor connections, local business development, and community events.
What You’ll Do
- Run in-home flooring sales appointments
- Measure, quote, and build proposals in the home
- Present products and close business using company tools and systems
- Generate self-sourced business through networking and referral development
- Support showroom walk-ins, home shows, and occasional event coverage
What We’re Looking For
- Flooring experience preferred
- In-home sales experience preferred
- Strong technology skills and comfort with digital proposals
- Strong communication and relationship-building ability
- Hunger, ownership mentality, and willingness to self-generate business
- Team-oriented mindset and flexibility with schedule
Compensation
- Base Salary $50,000 - $60,000
- Strong year-one earnings potential of $80K–$120K
- Strong performers can earn $120K+ in year two
- Additional earnings upside through self-generated business
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
