Requirements:

4-year degree in either construction management, engineering, or related field

Minimum of 10 years related work experience in estimating public works projects

Experienced in preparing order-of-magnitude to detail cost estimates during various design phases

Experienced in preparing construction change order estimates and ability to negotiate change orders with the contractors

Must have strong analytical, logical, and reasoning skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Must have good written and oral communication skills

Experienced in MS Office applications, On-Screen Take-Off or similar
Essential Job Functions:

Prepare order-of-magnitude to detail cost estimates during all phases of design; prepare independent change order estimate; analyze contractor's change order proposal; assist in negotiating change orders
