Preschool Assistant Teacher
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our early learning team. This role supports the lead teacher in creating a positive, engaging classroom where young children can grow emotionally, socially, and academically.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and leading age-appropriate lessons and activities.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Foster positive behavior, social development, and independence in a respectful, nurturing manner.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with children, families, and staff.
- Participate in team meetings, school functions, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Experience with preschool-aged children in a preschool or early childhood education setting preferred.
- Completion of 40 hours of early childhood education training is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.93 - $19.00 per hour
