Are you a hands-on problem solver with experience maintaining homes homes? Short Term Rental Manager (STRM), a local vacation rental management company, is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our managed properties in excellent working condition
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for helping with both routine maintenance tasks, as well as minor repairs in the furnished rentals we manage
Your schedule will be a mix of pre-scheduled routine maintenance visits, and last-minute repair visits based on repair needs reported for the home.
Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks for vacation rental homes, including changing air filters and light bulbs, maintaining grills, checking for leaks, etc

Perform light repairs at homes, including minor furniture and appliance repairs, drywall, paint touch-ups, minor plumbing, minor electric, etc

Complete exterior cleaning at homes, including pressure washing

Travel from site to site (usually at least 1-2 homes per day)

Ensure all properties are cared for and inspected according to standards

Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
Requirements

Ideal applicants are hard-working, have strong attention to detail, and are problem solvers

Prior experience with property maintenance is preferred

Have at least 4 days available each week. Weekday hours are preferred

Are available to work 20-35 hours per week

You must:

Have a reliable car, car insurance, and a valid driver's license

Be able to speak and read English

Have legal authorization to work in the United States

Be willing to submit to a Criminal Background Check

Be physically able (and willing) to bend/squat/lift/reach/climb stairs to complete tasks
