Kinequip, Inc. an established distributor of automation, electrical and fluid power products and manufacturer of specialty lighting products with an office in West Jefferson, NC has an immediate opening for a highly motivated individual for its warehouse team. Successful candidate will be able to work independently in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and organization. This position offers the right candidate an opportunity to join a great team with a strong company, supporting a variety of operational departments.
Basic Qualifications include:
Experience using windows based software with the ability to accurately receive inbound shipments and process outbound product on sales orders using our internal database which communicates with USPS, UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager and Starship. Have the ability to frequently lift 30 lbs and occasionally lift 65 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Keeping accurate/detailed records of all products shipped and received
- Must be able to work 1st shift (and overtime as required)
- Perform related duties as required by supervisor
- Pull, verify and pack product kits
- Pack goods in shipping containers
- Coordinate freight logistics and prepare BOL’s for product movement across multiple locations
- Create shipping labels and shipping documents
- Ensure that all orders have been filled correctly
- Maintain Inventory counts
- Assist with assemblies when needed
- Keep the shipping and warehouse area clean and orderly
- Light building/grounds maintenance
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform a Vendor Managed Inventory

- Good Problem Solving skills
- Able to perform repetitive tasks
- Knowledge in supply chain management
- Valid NC driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Experience operating a forklift
- Previous electronic assembly experience a plus
