Are you ready to grow your career in a busy, patient-focused eye care practice? We are currently seeking a Part-Time/Full-Time Ophthalmic Technician to join our dedicated team. In addition to traditional technician duties, this role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with new exciting and growing treatments for managing ocular conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient work-ups (history, visual acuity, IOP testing, diagnostic imaging: OCT, VF, etc.)
- Assist doctors during exams and procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation and patient records in EHR system
- Support daily clinical flow, patient prep, and follow-ups
Qualifications:
- Experience as an ophthalmic technician preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a busy setting
- Certification (COA/COT) a plus, but not required – training available
- Willingness to learn and grow with advancing technologies in eye care
