Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including acute care & hospice care. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting nursing staff with daily tasks.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Help maintain patient hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Assist nursing staff with medical documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support the movement of patients within the facility, including transferring them to different areas as needed.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) usage.
- Experience in acute care or hospice care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as urgent care or critical care units.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards patients of all ages.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.20 - $20.50 per hour
