PAY RANGE: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour
POSITION LOCATION: Pine
We are seeking a Grilling & Outdoor Power Equipment Specialist to assist customers with grill selection, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is passionate about grilling and outdoor cooking, with hands-on experience servicing grills. Small engine repair experience is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage. This role combines customer service, product expertise, sales, and light equipment repair.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Upholds Moore Lumber and Hardware Values Statement. Primary responsibility for all positions with Moore Lumber & Hardware is to WOW Every Customer. Retail Consultant/Cashier are responsible for engaging the customer, determining their needs, and providing product and expertise to ensure customer success.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Cashier experience in a similar position or proficiency in a similar task
- Ability to use a cash register (point of sale or POS system), computer, telephone, and other equipment as needed.
- Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with a passion for details.
- Willing to learn all areas of the facilities and help cross train others.
- Proven track record of being a team player.
- Knowledge and experience of various departments is strongly desired.
- A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.
- Availability must be flexible including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Aptitude for industry technology and software.
Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties.
- Move and handle merchandise up to 50 pounds, and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth.
- Ability to work on elevated platforms and ladders, and at heights near open spaces where the risk of falling may be present.
