Office Operations Manager

Join One of New Jersey's Fastest-Growing Healthcare Organizations. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Laboratory & Medical Office Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing functional medicine practice and CLIA-certified reference laboratory.
This leadership role is ideal for a hands-on healthcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building efficient systems, leading teams, and delivering an exceptional patient and client experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of both the medical practice and reference laboratory.
- Lead, train, and motivate front office, laboratory, and administrative staff.
- Improve workflow efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
- Monitor scheduling, staffing, inventory, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, COLA, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurse practitioners, laboratory personnel, and billing teams.
- Develop and implement operational policies and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, staff development, and performance evaluations.
- Support business growth, new service implementation, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical office or laboratory management experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience managing healthcare operations in a medical practice, diagnostic laboratory, or multispecialty clinic.
- Knowledge of EMR systems, laboratory workflows, medical billing, and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and lead multiple departments effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical office/ lab, or specialty healthcare.
- Familiarity with CLIA/COLA laboratory operations.
- Experience with quality management and process improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
