Job Description: Senior Manager Human Resources
LGLNA is a growing business that requires a skilled and engaging HR Manager to support our rapidly expanding organization. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and multi-site environment. S/he enjoys collaborating with all company team members, is skilled in candidate screening and recruitment, onboarding, record keeping, communication, and strategic planning. We’re looking for an experienced HR professional who will partner with our leadership team to support and develop employee resources in our fast-growing business. The Senior HR Manager will report directly to the CEO and be a critical part of the success and progress of LGLNA as we execute the North American Expansion Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct routine HR functions
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of office, warehouse and CDL driver applicants
- Collaborate with leadership team to guide and understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Maintain compliant employee records and files
- Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and procedures
- Oversee employee orientation and training programs
- Work with company leadership to implement employee engagement and retention programs
- Manage employee bonus and incentive programs, including validating payout amounts and performance goals
- Track and record performance reviews
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits. Research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure top talent is attracted and retained
- Conduct open enrollment and benefits administration
- Oversee employee performance improvement plans, meetings, offboarding procedures, and investigations
- Provide leadership and employee support and guidance and internal development opportunities
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and recommended best practices
- Manage Heath Insurance policies, provider selection, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of Labor Law and employment equity regulations
- Excellent people management skills
- Understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficient computer skills, including: email, Microsoft Office, Google Drive
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills

Education & Experience:
- 5 years of HR management experience
- Current HR certification, preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel to various operational sites, minimal/as needed
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate each department and operational site
Other Requirements: The LGLNA corporate office is located at 7701 Las Colinas Ridge, Irving, TX.
The Senior Manager HR is expected to have a regular presence at the Irving office daily.
S/he must be able to travel to additional sites and offices, as needed, and as we continue to expand.
