California Back & Pain Specialists is a growing multi-specialty medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Our team specializes in comprehensive pain management solutions and works collaboratively to help patients improve function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (Pain management ) to join our Riverside location on a part-time/per diem basis.
Position Overview
The Physician Assistant will work closely with our pain management providers to evaluate patients, assist with treatment planning, and support ongoing patient care.
This position is ideal for a PA who is interested in interventional pain management and enjoys working in a fast-paced specialty practice environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Obtain and review patient histories
- Conduct physical examinations and document clinical findings
- Review imaging, diagnostic results, and medical records
- Assist with developing treatment plans under physician supervision
- Provide patient education regarding treatment options and care plans
- Document visits accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and clinical team members
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies
Requirements
- Active California Physician Assistant (PA) License required
- Current certification and authorization to practice in California
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with physicians
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Previous experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, or related specialties preferred but not required
