As a Pet Care Sales Associate, you'll do more than stock shelves and process transactions—you'll build relationships with customers, share your knowledge, recommend products, and help families make informed decisions about the care of their pets. Whether assisting a first-time pet owner or a lifelong animal enthusiast, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional shopping experience.

What You'll Do
As a Pet Care Sales Associate, you'll:
- Welcome customers and create a friendly, engaging shopping experience.
- Learn about each customer's pets and recommend the products, food, treats, toys, and supplies that best fit their needs.
- Assist customers with the care, nutrition, enrichment, and habitat needs of dogs, cats, and other companion animals.
- Educate customers on responsible pet ownership and help them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain attractive, fully stocked, clean, and organized sales displays.
- Learn about our products through ongoing training and confidently share your knowledge with customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with your team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Go above and beyond to ensure every customer leaves feeling confident in the products and guidance they received.
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate:
- Has a genuine love for animals and enjoys helping people care for their pets.
- Enjoys building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Has previous retail or sales experience (preferred but not required).
- Communicates confidently, professionally, and enthusiastically.
- Is dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Has reliable transportation.
- Is available to work at least 15 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed.
