We are partnered with a long-standing district in Redford Township seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a newly created position supporting ASD center-based programs across multiple school buildings.
Position Overview
This role supports approximately 40 students across five ASD classrooms in three nearby school buildings (K–12 continuum). The position was created to provide consistent, full-time SLP support after prior part-time coverage.
The SLP will work primarily within ASD center-based programs with opportunities for push-in, small group therapy, evaluations, and collaboration with special education teams.
What You’ll Do
- Provide speech-language services in ASD center-based classrooms
- Support students across K–12 programming
- Conduct evaluations and develop IEPs
- Deliver push-in and small group therapy
- Collaborate with special education staff and related service providers
- Maintain documentation and progress monitoring
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Active or eligible Michigan SLP license (LARA)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or CF eligible
- School-based experience preferred
- Interest or experience in ASD programming strongly preferred
