Dads Cookies is opening a new storefront in downtown Fresno (right across from Tioga Brewery) and are looking for 3 Bakers to join us as we grow!
Baker responsibilities include prepping, mixing, and shaping dough, occasionally decorating cookies, and kitchen cleanup. Work experience as a Baker is not required but preferred. We’ll always have a head baker and additional team members to guide and train you as you start out.
We’re a small, tight-knit team with a casual, fun working atmosphere — we host events monthly and treat our team members like family. There’s lots of room to grow with us, and we’re genuinely excited to welcome new faces into the shop. We are looking to hire 3 bakers for a few shifts a week, either:
AM hours: 6am-11am
Mid shift: 11am-5pm
PM hours: 5pm-12am
Responsibilities
- Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
- Mix ingredients for cookies
- Shape dough
- Decorate cookies with glazes, icings, buttercream and various toppings depending on our specialty flavor of the week
- Clean bakery equipment and tools after use
- Cashier / friendly customer service
Skills
- Baking / Kitchen experience is a plus but not required (we will have training sessions)
- Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment, including mixers is a plus
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Team spirit, we are a small but quickly growing team!
