SUMMARY
Advanced understanding of diagnostic troubleshooting, installing, and repairing AC & DC electrical systems in vehicles such as RVs, autos, communication vehicles, trucks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Practice and comply with all requirements of company policies, as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment.
· Responsible for adhering to all applicable OSHA required safety requirements including Lock Out, Tag Out procedures
· Complying with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements at all times.
· Perform all tasks / responsibilities requested by Upper Management
· Responsible for returning inventory of spare parts, special need items and tolls in a timely manner.
· Advanced understanding of mechanical drawings, wire diagrams, travelers and schematics.
· Ability to operate computers and diagnose equipment using analog and digital multi- meter, pyrometers, voltmeters, etc.
· Perform root/cause analysis in support of reliability processes, and collaborate with vendors, engineering, customers and other crafts and management to solve problems and develop corrective action.
· Advanced understanding of electronic control panels, fiber optic censoring systems, drive motors, etc.
· Ability to diagnose electrical panels and operate from a safety perspective
· Responsible for using grommets while running wire through openings to prevent rubbing and an cutting of wire.
· Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets standards
· Identify defects and report to your superior so that they can be documented and corrected.
· Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management staff
· Drive continuous improvement in daily work activities and maintain continuous improvement mindset for the team.
· Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and principles.
· Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility
· Performs other routine duties.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· AC & DC Experience
· Experience working with structured procedures and processes for troubleshooting and problem solving.
· Expertise of proper maintenance of electrical equipment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
· Ability to read an comprehend complex English instructions, correspondence, and/or memos.
· Skill to effectively present information in a one on one or small group setting.
· Bilingual ability in Spanish is desirable, but not required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
