Assisted living community that specializes in memory care, is looking for a certified medication aide that is certified by the state of Texas and is in good standing with the licensure board.
· Please note: this is NOT for a Certified Medical Assistant.
We are looking for someone that is dedicated, hard-working and a team player and wants to be part of a team environment dedicated to the elderly. Responsibilities include:
· Faxing orders
· Checking medications in
· Following the Five Rights
· Filling and making sure medications are available
· Distributing medications to residents as prescribed
This position is 12-hour shift, four days on and two days off, every other weekend. This position will be working under the direction of a nurse.
