Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire) – 1st Shift
Location: Evandale, Ohio 45241
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6 am to 4 pm. (Working Fridays as needed for overtime)
Compensation: $25-$26 an hour starting pay, Overtime, quarterly and Safety bonus opportunities.
Entry-Level Maintenance Technician (Training Provided)Position Summary
Our client is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join their growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent technical school or college graduate, or someone with basic mechanical experience who is looking to start a long-term career in industrial maintenance.
No extensive maintenance experience is required—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving mechanical problems, and learning how equipment operates, this is a great opportunity to develop valuable maintenance skills with a stable, family-owned manufacturing company.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work alongside experienced maintenance professionals to learn preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair of specialized manufacturing equipment while helping keep production running safely and efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Learn to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Help inspect, maintain, and service production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Assist with replacing chains, belts, bearings, and other mechanical components.
- Learn basic hydraulic system maintenance and repairs.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Learn to maintain specialized paper converting and packaging equipment unique to the facility.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Preferred Qualifications
- Recent graduate from a technical school, trade school, community college, or vocational program in:
- Industrial Maintenance
- Mechatronics
- Mechanical Technology
- Manufacturing Technology
- Automotive Technology
- Diesel Technology
- Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Technology
- OR 1 year of manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, mechanical, or related experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial equipment.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to learn troubleshooting and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions.
- Ability to work independently after training and collaborate with a team.
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude.

Work Environment
