NeuLife Rehabilitation of Kentucky II is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Specialists to support adults with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) in a residential setting. Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Provide support with meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and medication reminders
- Transport and accompany individuals to work, therapy, medical appointments, and community activities
- Support rehabilitation, behavioral, and personal goals
- Monitor and report changes in condition
- Assist with medication administration as permitted
- Complete required documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Help create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license required
- Caregiving, healthcare, TBI, or direct support experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB screening
- Ability to lift, transfer, and physically assist individuals as needed
Schedule
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
- Day, nights, and weekend shifts available
