Qualifications
Applicants will be considered if their resume demonstrates the following experience, skills, and expertise:
- Substantial experience completing projects for both business and individual clients, and the ability to lead tax planning consultation meetings
- At least 10 years of accounting and tax experience, including 1065, 1120, 1120-S, 1040, 1041, 706 return types. Experience with 990 returns preferred but not required.
- The ability to review and correct books and records
- The ability to prepare and review financial statements (both compilation and reviewed) under either GAAP or SME standards
- Experience with the following software/tools: Lacerte, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online.
- Superior critical thinking skills
- Penchant for continuous improvement
- Leadership experience, including educating team members in tax preparation, research approaches, and audit work for complex tax situations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Salary of $120,000 to $150,000
- Path to Partnership (performance-based track for ownership opportunities)
- 15 days PTO (up to 30 with longevity increases)
- Retirement plan with 3% matching
