Join our dynamic team as a High-End Carpet Store Sales Manager delivering exceptional customer experiences in the luxury flooring industry. Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, Warehouse control, receiving shipments and merchandising.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, promotions, and upselling techniques to maximize revenue. Prepare accurate Sales Proposals and order all products needed for complete installation of each project.
- Manage cash handling and credit card processes with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain detailed inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate purchasing to ensure product availability.
- Foster a positive shopping environment through excellent customer service, phone etiquette, and professional communication skills. Must be proficient in the English language.
- Implement merchandising plans that highlight high-end carpet collections while aligning with brand standards.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly, resolve issues efficiently, and build lasting client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail Flooring industry, specifically leadership or store management roles.
- Strong background in retail sales management with expertise in negotiation, pricing strategies, and operational oversight.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training & development of staff, as well as supervising teams.
- Proficiency with POS systems, Excel and Measure Mobile software and basic math skills.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage customers professionally.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising standards specific to high-end products; familiarity with luxury flooring is a plus.
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on operational management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Experience in supervising inventory control processes including stocking and purchasing activities.
