Licensed Immigration Attorney Needed
A busy Immigration Law firm in Virginia with multiple offices seeks to hire a licensed attorney (VA barred is preferred). The firm offers a strong support staff, Legal Assistant, healthy collaborative environment, competitive salary based on experience as well as opportunity to grow.
The firm will provide all the necessary trainings. After training, the ideal associate attorney must be able to:
- Handle his or her own case load;
- Analyze, assess, and prepare applications for EOIR, USCIS, and other immigration offices;
- Conduct legal research to formulate strong arguments before the Immigration Courts, and the Asylum office;
- Utilize the firm's case management system and database accurately.
- Represent the firm's clients before the Asylum office, USCIS offices, and the Immigration Courts of Virginia and Baltimore.
- Qualified Candidate must be available to attend to some Virginia law matters, as they become relevant to the firm or to the clients of the firm.
Ideal candidate would be someone with:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Detail-oriented, organized, with positive attitude;
- Member in good standing with their state bar; and
- Motivated and eager to learn with great multitasking skills.
