Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate CDL A box trucks for local and regional delivery routes, adhering strictly to DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, setting up exercise equipment , front door drop offs or other material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices.
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers, verifying shipment details and obtaining signatures when required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, maintaining detailed logs.
- Communicate effectively via mobile devices to coordinate deliveries, route changes, or address customer inquiries promptly.
- Assist with warehouse operations including material handling, inventory management, and moving goods within the facility as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service during each delivery experience.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks.
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or heavy load transportation roles.
- Must pass a background check .
- Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to commercial driving and weight handling in the workplace.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while following safe lifting practices.
- Experience with route driving, adhering to schedules, and managing multiple deliveries daily.
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in using mobile devices for navigation and reporting purposes.

Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 per week
