Role: Senior Project Manager

Location: Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite in Minnetonka, MN

Contract Length: 6/15/2026-12/31/2026; Contract-to-hire

Rate: $59.73/hour W2

Overview

Seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead multiple high-visibility transformation initiatives within a healthcare payer environment. This role requires a strong communicator who can operate effectively across business, technology, and executive teams in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable leading complex cross-functional initiatives, navigating technical conversations, driving accountability, and managing ambiguity while keeping projects moving forward.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Candidates must be eligible and interested in converting to a full-time employee within 6 months. No sponsorship is available.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Project Management experience leading complex enterprise initiatives
Healthcare payer experience is required
Experience managing cross-functional transformation or operational change initiatives
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
Experience managing project timelines, dependencies, risks, and escalations
Strong facilitation and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

What This Role Will Focus On

Leading multiple enterprise transformation projects simultaneously
Managing cross-functional teams across business and technology
Driving timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication
Supporting initiatives tied to healthcare operations, Medicare/STARS, and Risk Adjustment programs
Communicating project status and risks to leadership and executive stakeholders
Facilitating alignment across operational, technical, and business teams
Working in a data-heavy environment with strong technical partnership

Highly Preferred Experience

Medicare, CMS, STARS, and/or Risk Adjustment experience
Experience supporting healthcare operational or regulatory programs
Experience in Agile or hybrid Agile environments
Experience using:
- SmartSheet
- SharePoint
- Microsoft Teams
- Apteo (nice to have)

Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
High autonomy and self-starter mentality
Ability to “speak tech” and partner closely with technical teams
