Pay Scale (Full-Time Equivalent): $67,992–$77,992
New Hire Sign-On Bonus
Up to $5,000, pro-rated based on a 40-hour full-time schedule, paid quarterly over 18 months.
Schedule
Standing Weekend Shift (16 Hours):
- Saturday: 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Additional Available Shifts (As Needed):
- Monday–Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Candidates assigned to the standing weekend schedule may also have the opportunity to pick up additional weekday shifts based on program needs.

Stetson School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality nursing care in a therapeutic residential and educational setting, helping promote the health, safety, and well-being of youth while supporting their treatment and educational success.

What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
- Monitor student health status, including vital signs, assessments, and responses to treatment.
- Conduct sick calls and respond to medical needs, injuries, and emergencies.
- Participate in student admissions and initial health assessments.
- Prepare, administer, and document medications while maintaining accurate medication and controlled substance records.
- Coordinate medical, dental, laboratory, and specialty appointments.
- Communicate with physicians, specialists, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding student care.
- Obtain and document physician orders, lab results, and diagnostic testing.
- Educate students, staff, and families on health conditions, medications, and wellness practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with nursing standards, agency policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and collaborative treatment planning.
Qualifications
Required
- Current Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred
- One to three years of nursing experience.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, behavioral health, residential, school, or psychiatric populations.
