Job Summary
The spray technician will perform essential job functions associated with the thermal spray coating operation under the direction of the Production Supervisor to meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate coating booth.
- Ability to follow work instructions to ensure pre-coating requirements are complete; cleaning and preparing parts prior to coating.
- Record, count and sign off on all applicable operations.
- Routinely check equipment; report problems, monitor booth and filtration systems to prevent airflow imbalance.
- Perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent damage to parts.
- Maintain high level of quality.
- Keep work area clean and organized maintaining 6S standards.
- Follow company rules and policies.
- Work to maximize productivity.
- All other duties assigned b management.
Qualifications
- Must be US citizen or permanent resident to satisfy ITAR compliance.
- ·High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 3 years minimum previous experience in a coating booth preferred.
- Ability to perform mechanical measurements.
- Ability to count parts.
- Need to be organized, detail oriented and accurate.
- Ability to prioritize jobs and to work independently.
- Good communication skills with co-workers and management
- Good attendance is a must.
- Ability to stay off cell phone during work hours.
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
