In this role, you will create manufacturing drawings and 3D models, support production through tooling and fixture design, review customer specifications, and work alongside manufacturing teams to continuously improve quality, efficiency, and production processes. Full training will be provided on their specialist products, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
This role would suit a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys working on custom engineered products and is looking to develop their career within a growing business offering long-term progression and specialist technical training.
The Role:
- Design manufacturing drawings, 3D models, and engineering packages for custom manufactured products
- Support production through tooling, fixture design, and manufacturing process improvements
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and customers to deliver high-quality bespoke projects
- Review customer specifications, engineering documentation, and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality
The Person:
- Manufacturing engineering or mechanical design experience within a custom manufacturing environment
- Experience using 3D CAD software and interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
