Ultrasound Technologist
Yuma District Hospital is currently recruiting for an experienced sonographer who is seeking an opportunity to grow professionally and personally. Current sonographer position is full-time (30-40 hrs week).
The ideal candidate will have experience in ultrasound general exams, Abdomens, OB, GYN, Breast, Vascular/Arterials.
Ability to evaluate, synthesize and communicate diagnostic information to the referring physician and radiologist.
Assumes responsibility for the safety and well-being of all patient in the ultrasound department.
Assumes responsibility to trouble shoot ultrasound equipment and effectively communicate to the service engineers for repairs.
Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as required.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the patient and health care team
Ability to follow established departmental procedures.
If qualified and willing to work as RT/CT tech or Echo Tech as well additional compensation negotiable.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved, accredited school of Ultrasound Technology required
- ARDMS
- ARRT
- Current BLS
- Current compliance with continuing medical education (CME)

About Yuma District Hospital
Yuma District Hospital is a nonprofit critical access hospital on the northeastern plains of Colorado. We are about 130 miles slightly north and east of Denver metro area. We enjoy quieter rural lifestyle, open roads, distant views, and still within reasonable commute to more urban areas. We generally serve an agricultural community and about a 10,000-population service area. Through our hospital health services includes, inpatient care, emergency care, and outpatient ancillary services, two primary care clinics, a specialty medicine clinic including behavioral health, and home health services.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.91 - $49.26 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
