Duties
- Set up catering events by arranging tables, linens, utensils, and decorations to create inviting dining atmospheres
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage beverage service including wine knowledge, drink service, and handling POS systems for accurate order processing
- Clear tables, bussing dishes promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for next service
- Support food safety protocols by handling food properly, adhering to hygiene standards, and monitoring storage conditions
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries courteously and ensuring guests’ needs are met promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Culinary experience or banquet experience that demonstrates familiarity with food presentation and service techniques
- Strong background in guest services, including customer service skills and guest relations management
- Experience with food handling, serving in fine dining or hotel settings, and beverage or wine knowledge
- Familiarity with catering operations, restaurant experience, or coffee service adds value
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for order processing and billing purposes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation practices is essential
