About the Role
As a Sinker EDM Technical Specialist, you will serve as a key technical resource for clients, driving the optimization of electrical discharge machining processes through expert troubleshooting and hands-on training. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer productivity by delivering innovative solutions and supporting sales initiatives through high-impact demonstrations.
Responsibilities-
Diagnose and resolve complex application-related challenges for Sinker EDM equipment, both remotely and on-site.

Design and deliver customized training programs to empower customers to maximize machine performance and output.

Perform test cuts and technical demonstrations to showcase equipment capabilities to prospective clients.

Identify and pursue opportunities to expand service and product offerings within existing customer accounts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processing methods and improve overall machine efficiency.

Document technical solutions and best practices to ensure consistent support and knowledge sharing.

Proven expertise in programming, setting up, and operating Sinker EDM machinery.

Strong proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software integration.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and software-related issues independently.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interaction.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Experience in a high-paced machine shop or industrial manufacturing environment.

Background in developing and implementing formal training curricula.

Advanced knowledge of Windows-based operating systems for industrial control.

Ability to adapt industry standards to unique, non-standard machining requirements.
