Position Overview
The Turndown Attendant is responsible for preparing guest rooms and suites for the evening by providing turndown service in accordance with Hotel ZaZa standards. This position ensures guest accommodations are refreshed, clean, comfortable, and welcoming while delivering personalized service that enhances the overall guest experience.
The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality in a luxury hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide evening turndown service to assigned guest rooms and suites according to Hotel ZaZa luxury service standards.
- Refresh guest rooms by making beds, arranging linens, replacing used towels, replenishing amenities, and preparing the room for guest comfort.
- Ensure guest rooms are neat, orderly, and presentable for evening occupancy.
- Remove trash, refresh ice buckets when required, and restock guest supplies and amenities.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, safety concerns, and overall presentation.
- Report maintenance deficiencies, guest concerns, safety hazards, damaged property, and lost-and-found items promptly to management.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and special service needs.
- Maintain guest privacy, confidentiality, and security at all times.
- Stock and organize housekeeping carts with necessary linens, amenities, and supplies.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and safe handling practices for cleaning products and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other hotel departments to support exceptional guest service.
- Assist with special projects, deep cleaning assignments, VIP room preparations, and additional housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Attend departmental meetings and required training sessions.
- Comply with all company policies, brand standards, safety procedures, and departmental expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous housekeeping, turndown service, hotel, hospitality, or cleaning experience.
- Experience working in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environment.
- Bilingual communication skills.
- Knowledge of luxury guest service standards and hotel housekeeping procedures.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions regularly.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to maneuver housekeeping carts, vacuums, linens, and cleaning equipment safely.
- Ability to work with approved cleaning chemicals and housekeeping supplies in accordance with safety guidelines.
Work Environment

Primarily works in guest rooms, suites, hallways, storage areas, and other hotel facilities.
- Fast-paced hospitality environment requiring frequent interaction with guests and team members.
- Position typically works evening shifts and may require weekend, holiday, and overtime availability based on operational needs.
- Requires maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with Hotel ZaZa luxury service standards.
