Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Build strong guest relations through excellent customer service, addressing questions or concerns promptly
Experience
- Prior restaurant experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly advantageous
- Experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs adds value to your application
- Demonstrated skills in time management, multitasking, and efficient service delivery
- Knowledge of food industry standards including sanitation, food safety, and proper food handling practices
- Previous host/hostess experience or serving roles that involved guest relations is a plus
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
