Wound Care RN Nurse Summary:
Implements policies and procedures, along with standards of care and practice related to patient care needs involving various types of wounds. Provides direct patient care and assistance to staff nurses, and acts as consultative service regarding wound care to clinical staff. Performs wound care functions under the oversight of a Wound Care Coordinator
Education: Graduate of an approved Nursing Program. BSN Preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Registered Nurse in the state of facility location. Current BLS certification. Wound care certificate from ANCC accredited program within two years of hire.
Experience: Two (2) years nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Safety Sensitive-Designated Position
Requirements: Must be able to work Sundays - Hours are 7 am - 7:30 pm
