Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Tucson. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality patient care by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring long-term or short-term care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient conditions, reporting findings accurately
- Support patients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and safe transfer methods
- Maintain detailed medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Practice aseptic techniques during patient interactions to prevent infection and ensure safety
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of practice
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Prior experience in long-term care facilities, hospitals, or home care settings highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling techniques
- Strong caregiver communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service

- Proficient in Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Self-starter, able to display the highest level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.
- Ability to exercise practical judgment and sensitivity to changing needs and situations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Must possess a strong sense of urgency and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Support all communications with a high level of courtesy and professional acumen.
- Proven ability to work independently at times and within a team.
