**MUST HAVE BACHELOR DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION OR WORKING TOWARDS BACHELOR DEGREE**
· Be prepared daily to engage with and teach the children in your care
· Create and maintain a warm, loving environment
· Create weekly lesson plans that include a daily art activity and a monthly newsletter
· Maintain CQI goals and child portfolios according to FOCUS requirements; conduct ASQ’s and develop plans to accommodate areas of delay
· Arrange the environment in a way that promotes interest and engagement in designated center
· Fill out and maintain the classroom daily attendance sheets while knowing your count off the top of your head
· Use and maintain Class Dojo to keep consistent communication with families
· Create and maintain a healthy form of communication with families and establish a solid relationship
· Take any trainings that NM PreK requires to maintain the lead position; enroll and take any college classes you need to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
· Follow and know state regulations in regard to cleaning, sanitizing and following proper cleaning protocol
· Create at least one hands on project a week for the children to be a part of
· Facilitate and plan field trips to local parks, museums, etc.
· Develop and follow a daily schedule for the classroom
· Implement classroom behavior management plan
· Keep classroom notes/documentation on behavior issues, concerns and incidents
· Clean and close your classroom according to policy of the center
· Follow ALL NM PreK standards as written
· Attend work regularly and on time

Pay: $15.00 - $26.44 per hour
Experience:
- PreK Teaching: 1 year (Required)
- Early childhood education: 1 year (Preferred)
