Job Overview
Texas Superior Home Services is seeking a reliable and skilled Make Ready Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for preparing residential properties for new occupants by completing maintenance, repairs, and general improvement tasks.
The ideal candidate has hands-on home maintenance experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently while traveling to various job locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, leaks, etc.)
- Perform minor electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets)
- Complete drywall repairs and patchwork
- Interior painting and touch-ups
- Replace or install fixtures and hardware
- General property maintenance tasks
- Ensure units are move-in ready and meet company quality standards
- Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and organized
- Travel between job sites as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home maintenance, apartment maintenance, or handyman services preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
- Reliable transportation (required – this is a field position)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual

Schedule
- Monday–Friday (occasional weekend work may be required)
- Full-time/Part-time hours (30-35hrs)
