We are looking for someone who has a passion for Baking to join our team. This position has an early morning start at 4am so must be able to do early mornings and have great reliability. The bakers position is an essential part of our operation and demands extreme reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in baking and food preparation, along with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This role involves supporting the bakery operations, assisting in the preparation of baked goods, and ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery items, including breads, pastries, bagels, Donuts, cakes, and more.
- Ensure all food safety and handling guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with custom orders and inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations as you are working continuously throughout the day and end of shift.
- Support the staff in daily operations as needed.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and assisting with restocking as necessary as well as ordering.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and be efficient in time management skills.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant setting is preferred; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is required.
- Experience in pastry preparation or other baked goods is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.
- A passion for baking and cooking, along with an eagerness to develop skills in a kitchen environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
