Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our growing manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on position responsible for assembling, fabricating, and testing a variety of RF shielding products using specialized materials, hardware, and manufacturing techniques. The ideal candidate enjoys building things, takes pride in quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment where accuracy and consistency matter.
Whether assembling a custom Faraday tent, integrating hardware into a shielded enclosure, or preparing components for production, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality products that meet the demanding expectations of our customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Product Assembly & Manufacturing
- Assemble RF shielding products including Faraday tents, enclosures, bags, lockers, and custom assemblies following documented work instructions.
- Measure, cut, and prepare conductive fabrics, shielding mesh, hook-and-loop materials, foams, and other specialized components.
- Install hardware including structural frames, support poles, fasteners, LED lighting, ventilation systems, power components, and accessory hardware.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and specialty equipment.
Quality Assurance
- Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure workmanship meets company quality standards.
- Identify and resolve assembly issues before final inspection.
- Verify product dimensions, hardware placement, and overall functionality.
- Report quality concerns and recommend process improvements when appropriate.
Production Support
- Prepare materials and components for upcoming production runs.
- Assist with kitting, packaging, labeling, and specialty customer configurations.
- Support prototype builds and new product introductions as required.
- Maintain production documentation and follow established manufacturing procedures.
Organization & Safety
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and production areas.
- Keep tools, materials, and inventory organized and properly stocked.
- Follow all OSHA safety requirements and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, efficiency, and product quality.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Development, and Operations to support manufacturing objectives.
- Communicate production issues, inventory shortages, and process improvements in a timely manner.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, woodworking, mechanical assembly, or production experience preferred.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, or shop equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and technical drawings.
- Comfortable learning new manufacturing techniques and production processes.
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Dependable, organized, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements - The essential functions of this position may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequently stand and move throughout the production area during the workday.
- Frequently bend, kneel, reach, lift, and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
- Safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Safely operate ladders, hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
- Maintain focus during detailed assembly and inspection work requiring precision and consistency.
Additional Responsibilities
In addition to the primary responsibilities listed above, employees may be assigned additional tasks or projects that support production, warehouse operations, product development, or other company initiatives. Responsibilities may evolve as business needs change and new manufacturing capabilities are introduced.
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the Operations Manager
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
